    Application of wavelet neural network model for prediction of water quality in the reservoirs

    • Based on wavelet analysis functions, a wavelet neural network model was established and applied to predict water quality for a reservoir. The study results showed that wavelet neural network model could better predict water quality contrast with monitoring data in the reservoir, the relative error of water quality prediction accuracy could be controlled within 15% using this model in each month of 2014, which meets the requirement of specifications for water quality prediction. This study provides reference value for constructing a platform of prediction of water quality in the reservoir.
