Abstract:
Ice monitoring is a key link to the process of ice decision-making, water project operation management and water resources optimization scheduling. With continuous development of related disciplines, modern science and technology demand more and higher quality data. Traditional methods can't meet the actual demand of monitoring of the ice disasters. In this paper, UAV is adopted to monitor ice disaster and dangerous levee due to its safety, efficiency and low labor costs. The Yellow River in Inner-Mongolia reach was surveyed using UAV aerial system, where is prone to ice flood danger. The results show that the adopted remote aerial vehicle well implemented aerial process in the complex environment; ice data results are comprehensive and accurate, which provides reference for ice flood forecasting and plays a positive role in ice flood security of the Yellow River.
