Abstract:
The climate of city along the Yangtze River is variable, and the relationship between flood and waterlogging is complex, affecting and constraining each other, which is the main problem of the riverine cities. Analyzing and mastering the characteristics of rainstorm and flood can predict characteristics of river floods under different rainfall conditions and its impact on urban drainage in advance, which is of great significance for urban flood control and drainage system to make overall planning, reasonable planning and flood forecasting and early warning. In this study, taking Luzhou city in Sichuan province as an example, the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of rainstorm and flood characteristics are analyzed and discussed in order to provide reference for the construction of flood control and disaster reduction system of cities along the river under the new situation.
