Abstract:
Affected by continuous heavy rainfall, the Le'an River basin encountered a rare rainstorm in history, and the peak flow of the Hushan Station of the Le'an River was close to 50 year return period, causing serious flood in Leping City, in June, 2022. This paper analyzed the characteristics of the flood, rainfall and water regime caused by this heavy rainfall process. Using satellite GF-3 remote sensing data, the flood and disaster situations were dynamically monitored and evaluated. This result accurately, timely and comprehensively tracked the evolution process and development trend of the flood in Le'an River basin, and provided technical support from overall perspective for disaster emergency rescue decision-making.
